Have You Considered Signing Up For Group Fitness Classes?
It's probably been a while since anyone has considered taking a group fitness class. The danger and fear of COVID-19 has kept people from working out in groups, and for some people, prevented them from working out at all. Many have been affected psychologically by the virus, which has discouraged them from getting or staying in shape. If done in a safe manner and a clean environment, group fitness classes can be extremely beneficial for the mental and physical health of individuals.
Socialization is something that all of us need regularly. CoreFit Wellness would love to restore the social aspect of life back into your routine. In this blog, we'll describe how group fitness classes can be more effective than working out alone and help you get back into a healthy routine.
*Taking the necessary steps to remain healthy is extremely important before stepping foot into the CoreFit Wellness facility. If you're feeling under the weather, don't go to class that day and see your doctor. Only participate in group or individual classes once your doctor has permitted you to be around other people once again.
Joining group workout classes are a great way to hold yourself accountable. Once you've attended a few classes and you get to know the trainers and the people around you, they expect you to be there! The feeling of not wanting to let your peers or yourself down is a very strong motivator to simply get yourself to the class.
There are other people in the group with similar goals as you. If you are dieting, they can help hold you accountable and play a major role in reaching your wellness goals.
Meeting health and fitness goals can be extremely challenging, especially during COVID-19. Surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals and an encouraging instructor can help you take the next step and continue to improve. Even though motivation technically comes from within, being around the right people in group classes can help you stay positive and remain on-track for success.
When inexperienced individuals workout by themselves, there's a chance there isn't a whole lot of structure to their workout. Each group class has a warm-up, a balanced workout and a cool-down. Each workout complements the other and doesn't put too much strain on a specific area of the body. A good work ethic without structure can significantly reduce progress and leave you frustrated.
Simply put, group classes are really fun! Everything from upbeat music to positive attitudes. If you think working out by yourself is boring, try a group class! It could be just the spark you need to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle!
CoreFit Wellness is proud to announce we have been provided with a certificate of disinfection. This informs anyone who steps onto our facility that we are taking the necessary steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses.
During our group classes, everyone is socially distanced, and if you're feeling under the weather, please stay home out of respect for others taking the class.
