The last two months have been extremely difficult for most everyone. The caution and backlash of COVID-19 caused businesses to shut down, people have lost their jobs and more significantly, loved ones have been at risk of contracting this disease. The stress levels for many people during this time has been through the roof due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic. One of the great things about working out is it helps relieve stress. Even if you've been able to workout from home, the intensity level might not have been the same as you're used to.

Snap Out of Your Quarantine Routine
Routines can be extremely hard to break, and for the last couple of months, many of us have acquired a stagnant, inactive one. So, how do you break a bad routine? Replace it with a good one! Things you can do to help start a new routine are:
Wake up early
Eat a nutritional breakfast
Eat healthy after your workout
Go to bed at a reasonable hour
Fitting these things into your schedule will help increase energy and break you of that quarantine routine!
Only YOU can decide to resume an active lifestyle. If your getting back into shape is someone elses suggestion but you're not really motivated, it won't last. The decision has to come from a desire to improve on a daily basis.
Part of being personally accountable is understanding yourself. If you think it's possible that working out might take a backseat after a couple of weeks, the best way to stay on track and reach your fitness goals is to hire a personal trainer. If that's not in the budget right now, ask a good friend or family member to check up on you every once in a while to help you stay the course.
