Golf Specific Training

Welcome to your resource for golf health, fitness and swing related information.  Our focus is to make you a more efficient, and better golfer.  Improve your distance, accuracy, and reduce injuries.

Strong golf performance begins with a strong body. Your body ultimately determines distance, accuracy, and consistency in the golf game. We conduct a complete fitness analysis to help identify physical areas that may be limiting one’s golf game. Participants will receive a complete fitness plan with golf-specific exercises, focusing on the fundamental swing mechanics and the physical demands of golf. A customized fitness agenda will be created to meet individuals’ needs, resolve shortcomings, and enhance strengths.

The program will focus on eliminating pain and postural faults, in efforts to restore the physical condition necessary for complete performance and injury prevention. Participants will develop a heightened body awareness that will result in increased range of motion, improved posture, enhanced coordination, better balance, increased flexibility, added endurance, superior strength, and more power.

TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the body/swing connection through its one of a kind ‘TPI Certified’ educational program. This program was developed by founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips along with a 52 member advisory staff of industry leading experts. Five unique fields of study are offered for TPI Certification: Golf, Medical, Fitness, Power and Junior Development.

TPI is the world leader in research and data collection about golf fitness, health and swing biomechanics. Being certified TPI professional means that we are trained to find all of the strength and mobility issues that are holding you back from improving your golf game, and that we can collaborate with golf instructors because we speak the same language when it comes to your golf swing. We have worked hard to get this certification because we believe it gives you the best chance to improve your golf game and it compliments what we already do as golf fitness professionals.

If you have tried other ways to improve your golf game with limited success, or if you continue to have re-occurring injuries related to playing golf, you will benefit from seeing a TPI Certified Professional.

You can expect 45-60 minutes of evaluation that covers entire body’s ability to move and stabilize as it relates to your golf swing. From that you will gain a better understanding of where you need to focus your exercise to make the most gains toward a more efficient golf swing. You will receive an email describing your physical findings, and a golf fitness handicap. If your golf fitness handicap is higher than your golf handicap, then you will make more improvement by focusing on your flexibility and strength, if your golf handicap is higher, then we would recommend you work with a PGA teaching professional on swing mechanics to improve your golf game. After the evaluation, you can decide what training routine works best for you. You will get access to which will give you a wealth of information related to your golf game, and you will be able to access your customized exercise program focused on your specific findings. You will also have the option on working 1 on 1 with our TPI Level 2 professional trainer.

Drive longer, increase accuracy, become more consistent, reduce injury, and become the golfer you have always wanted to be!
